Welcome to PackontheProwl.com! This is a new site developed by Jeff Wilson and Chris Winstead to share our feelings about our beloved N.C. State Wolfpack. One of our goals is to help bridge the gap between the students of NCSU and others. We plan on having many different sections to do this.

4/14/07: It's been a busy week in Wolfpack Athletics. Ms. Wuf came away with a National Championship last weekend in Daytona Beach. Mr. Wuf and the Cheerleaders finished 3rd in their respective competitions. Today was also the Red and White Spring Football game. Tom O'Brien and company had over 300 former players on hand for Friday's practice and today's game. Check out our Photo Gallery for pictures from today's game, and some of Mr. and Ms. Wuf with their trophies!

3/18/07: We have posted new pictures from the Pack's post season games, men's and women's. Check out the photo gallery to experience post season basketball!

3/14/07: Men's Basketball team will play postseason play in Reynolds! Let's pack the place out Friday night at 9:30!! Ticket info will be available this afternoon according to the GoPack ticket office.

3/6/07: What a weekend the Wolfpack of the hardwood had. The women started off the weekend Friday with a tournament win dominating Florida State. With that win it set up a rematch with the only team to hand the women a home loss, the #1 team in the country, the undefeated Duke Blue Devils. However, the women were able to do the unthinkable and upset the Blue Devils. This was the 1st time since the 70's the Pack have beat the #1 team. The men later on Saturday afternoon didn't have as good of luck, and were handled by Maryland to end their regular season. The women's luck then ran out Sunday as they lost in the Finals to Chapel Hill, but have moved their way up in the seeding for the NCAA's that they will host at the RBC Center.

2/13/07: We changed the layout of our message board around a little. Not a total change, but hopefully compacting it a little to make it more reader friendly. Also we are looking for some mods for the message board and some bloggers for the blog. Please let us know if you are interested!

2/4/07: WOO HOO! If you don't know by now that we upset unc-ch yesterday, get out of the hole you are living in! We have added pictures from yesterday's game and last night's celebration at the Bell Tower! We have also updated the blog with Jeff's feelings after the game! Not to mention, I want to remind you that I called this victory back in November, the 24th to be exact, in the entry titled "You heard it here first".

2/2/07: Tomorrow is one of the biggest games of the season, not only because it's a conference game, but because it's the rivalry game against unc-ch at home. The daily tar hells are out and campus is ready. Check out our Preview of unc-ch blog entry to get you ready for the game. Also tonight, don't forget NC State Hockey at 8pm at the RecZone! Me and my cowbell will be there directly behind VT's goalie, hope to see you there too!

1/31/07: Tonight the Wolfpack take on #16 Virginia Tech on the road at 9:00pm. We have previewed the game in our blog entry Preview of Virginia Tech. This will be a tough game for us but I have no doubt that Sidney Lowe and company have our men prepared.

NC State and UNC-CH hockey clubs will also go head to head in a shootout during one of the intermissions. For ticket information skate over to carolinahurricanes.com and we'll see you there!

1/13/07: Good win for the Pack today! Also, we are really struggling with the format of our blog. Don't know what we changed but it just isn't behaving. Because of this we have changed back to the original format so you will atleast be able to read it for now. Once we are able to get the bugs worked back out we plan to put it back to how it was.
