Chris:

My name is Chris Winstead and I am majoring in Computer Science here at N.C. State. I was born and raised in Greenville, which means I grew up an ECU fan. Growing up, I played all sports, but soccer was my sport. I played competitively until I graduated high school. After failing to get the scholarship offer I was looking for from ECU (of course, as of now they don't have men's team anymore), I decided to head to NC State and I quickly became obsessed with Wolfpack Athletics. When people from home ask me how I could go to NC State I calmly tell them I take 264 to 64 to Raleigh!!!

Jeff and I have come here from two different ways, not only geographically but our decision process. Please follow us as we keep up with our beloved Wolfpack and report to you what we think and feel.

Jeff:

I just wanted to take a minute and tell everybody a little bit about myself. My name is Jeff Wilson and I am a junior majoring in Civil Engineering at NC State University. I was lucky enough to be born into a NC State family; my Dad graduated from NCSU while my Mom graduated from Meredith College. My sister also graduated from Meredith College and is now married to a very nice NC State guy. They recently added another Wolfpack fan, a little girl, to this world and made me a very proud Uncle! Both my sister and I grew up attending NCSU sporting events and pulled very hard for the Wolfpack. We have attend basketball games in both Reynolds and the RBC Center as well as spending countless Saturday afternoons at Carter-Finley Stadium. We truly are a Wolfpack family and love every minute of it!!!

While growing up in Greensboro I played many different sports. However, I eventually started to focus on golf and ended up playing three years of high school golf. When it came time to apply to college, I did not have to think twice, I wanted to come to NC State. Besides I would have lost half of my wardrobe if I attended another college! I have really enjoyed my experiences in Raleigh.

On this blog we will try and provide our insight to what is going on with NC State. We will not claim to know everything, just present our opinions on the Wolfpack! GO PACK!!!
